Stop sifting through endless noise. Get a technical hiring shortlist that's already been checked, not just matched by an algorithm.

Ranked.I hands recruiting agencies and lean TA teams a precise, calibrated shortlist for a role: senior human judgment, measured against real hiring outcomes. No subscriptions, no black-box platforms, no software to configure.

Brand-new role
5-7 days
Re-opening a role we've already scoped
24-48 hours

Not an AI sourcing tool. Not an expert network. Something narrower.

There are two common ways to solve this problem today, and Ranked.I is neither:

Self-serve AI sourcing platforms

The hireEZ / SeekOut / Pin category gives you more candidates, faster, from a bigger database. You still do the evaluation yourself.

Expert-network shortlist services

They route your role to a network of outside experts who recommend candidates from their own contacts. You get warm introductions, but no measurable accuracy standard.

Ranked.I does one specific thing

One calibrated shortlist, ranked by a person, checked against your actual bar, with the accuracy published. Smaller scope, more accountability.

The numbers, not the hype

We don't guess. We measure our ranking against how real engineering leaders evaluate talent, and we show the math.

Java Engineering Search 84% Our shortlist ranking matched the client's internal evaluation 84% of the time on live data (89% on a held-out test sample).
Data Science Search 72% 72% raw agreement (84% on held-out data), with a Cohen's kappa of 0.80 against the client's independent hiring labels.

What that means in plain terms: a kappa above 0.60 is considered strong agreement between two independent human raters. Our ranking agrees with an experienced hiring manager about as much as two experienced hiring managers agree with each other.

We're happy to walk you through the methodology. No other sourcing service in this space publishes a number like this.

How it works

We'd rather tell you 5-7 days and beat it than promise 48 hours and miss it.

  1. 1

You send the role and must-have criteria.

  2. 2

We calibrate ranking criteria against your actual bar, not a generic template.

  3. 3

    You get a ranked shortlist.

    5-7 days for a brand-new role, 24-48 hours if it's a repeat of a role we've already calibrated.

What a shortlist looks like

Illustrative rows. A real board carries forty named profiles with live links, your language and relocation checks, and a verify flag wherever the public record is thin.

What you're actually comparing this to

A single bad senior hire typically costs far more than our fee: in salary, ramp time, and the search you'll have to run again.

Compared to a contingency agency fee (commonly 15-25% of first-year salary), a calibrated shortlist costs a fraction of that, without committing you to a placement fee before you've seen a single candidate.

You're not paying for more resumes. You're paying for a shortlist someone with judgment has already stood behind, with the accuracy shown, not claimed.

FAQ

How is this different from an AI sourcing tool I already pay for?

Those give you a bigger haystack, faster. We give you a shortlist someone has already checked, with the accuracy of that check published.

How is this different from an executive search / expert network?

Those route your role to outside experts recommending from their own contacts. Good for warm intros, but there's no standard way to measure how accurate the recommendations are. We calibrate against your specific bar and show you the number.

Do you work outside tech roles?

Currently we're focused on developer and data roles, where the calibration has been tested. We'd rather say that plainly than overreach.

Is my hiring budget already approved?

If it's not yet, that's worth sorting out internally before starting a search.
